70th Birthday Celebrations

Tonight, we went to Jason's mum's 70th birthday dinner celebration at Roland Restaurant. He had booked a VIP room with 8 tables to celebrate his mum's birthday.

After all of us had bathe & changed, I told Kel to take some pics for remembrance.

After all the photo-taking, we proceeded to Roland Restaurant for the dinner.

The food at the dinner was not as good as we expected. However, it could be due to the packed capacity that night. I didn't know that the restaurant is so popular.

While waiting for the courses to be served, Kel, the doting dad, played with Dawn while I took pics. Daryl are not in the pics coz he's running around in the VIP room area playing with his new friends.


















































































































































































After dinner, I drove coz Kel had some drinks during the dinner. While travelling along Jalan Eunos, I had to brake suddenly at a traffic light junction due to the red light. You know what my precocious boy said? He was sitting in the front passenger seat & he turned to me & said, "Mummy, Daddy can drive properly 1!" Kel who was sitting in the back seat with Dawn roared with laughter. He gloated, "See, even your son thinks that Daddy is a better driver!" *faint* I don't know whether I should laugh or cry.

Flipped

Dawn flipped to her tummy just now in the afternoon!

I had put her on the bed just now while I went to take my hp from the study room. When I came back to the room again, I saw her trying to flip over. I ran to call Kel who's working in the study room. Then the 2 of us rushed into our room.

After a few tries, she managed to flip successfully to her side. We were so happy coz we managed to witness her 1st flip. We had missed Daryl's 1st flip coz we were both at work that time. :(

Now we got to be more careful about where we put her down already.

Photo Taking Time

Kel got some free time in the afternoon just now. Thus, he brought me & Dawn out to Parkway Parade to buy a new microwave to replace our old 1 which had spoilt already.

Kel went to change Dawn while I went to pack her stuff. He choose this romper which Chris had given to Dawn during her full month. When I went back to our room to check on them, Dawn looks so sweet that I couldn't resist asking Kel to take pics of the 2 of us.

After we were done with the photo taking, we left the house. In the lift, when I saw how cute Dawn looked with the Winnie the Pooh receiving blanket which was given by Esther, I couldn't resist taking pics.

Grown Up

A few incidents happened today which made me realised how much my 2 baobeis have grown.

1st, we went to the Indonesia Embassy this morning to renew Asty's passport. While waiting for Asty to take her pic, I went to the car to feed Dawn. After 5 minutes, she unlatched herself & smiled at me. As her feed was too short, I tried to latch her on again. However, she refused to & kept smiling & talking to me in her baby language. Then I told her very sternly that if she don't want to drink her milk, then she can't complained later that she's hungry. To my surprise, she actually nodded her head. I thought that it was a fluke & told her the same thing again. Again, she nodded her head. I laughed & told her that she's a really cheeky gal. Her reply? More smiles & baby talk...

2nd, I went to pick up Daryl from school in the evening. On the way home, we went to buy McDonald's for dinner. On the drive back home, the following conversation took place.

D : Mummy, you buy McDonald for Daddy?
M : Nope, coz Daddy is working, so he's not eating dinner.
D : Mummy, you buy McDonald for Kaka? (kaka refers to Asty)
M : Nope, coz Kaka don't want to eat dinner also.

His reply to me then is priceless...

D : Hey, why everybody don't want to eat dinner?

When I heard that, I totally cracked up!

3rd, Daryl had taken his evening shower & was jumping on the bed while watching Playhouse Disney's 10 days Play & Learn Camp show. I was undressing Dawn for her evening bath then. As I was afraid that Daryl would accidentally hit Dawn, I told Daryl to stop jumping around. If not, I would smack his backside. Daryl's reply to me is of coz "Nope". So I told him again in a very stern voice that I would really smack his backside if he doesn't stop jumping. Dawn's response was priceless. She actually laughed... I don't know whether she laughed coz she find that Daryl's jumping is very funny or my threat to Daryl is hilarious. When I heard her laughed, I said the same thing to Daryl & she laughed again. *faint* Then I looked at her & said, "You also want Mummy to smack your backside?" Her reply? She actually shook her head! When I asked her the same question, she gave me the same response by shaking her head.

Omg... my kids are getting more precocious by the day!

Photo Taking in School

Today, Daryl's school is having their annual photo taking session. 2 photos will be taking. 1 group photo & 1 individual. As we wanted Daryl to look nice in the pics, we decided to gel his hair. :p

Unfortunately, Daryl woke up from the wrong side of the bed this morning. Thus, he's super grouchy. He didn't want to wear his school uniform which was the dress code for the photo taking session. For some unknown reason, he dislikes wearing the school uniform & prefers to wear the t-shirt. We took a long time to persuade him to wear the uniform. Then Kel brought him into the bathroom so that he can gel Daryl's hair.

Luckily, Daryl's mood changed for the better when we went out of the house. He looked so handsome that I couldn't resist taking more pics.

When we reached his school, his teachers all teased him for gelling his hair. Hopefully the photo session went okie. At least I would have nice pics of my cheeky boy. :p

Dawn's Laugh

Kel & I were out the whole day today for training in the morning, then appts in the afternoon. When we got home in the evening after picking up Daryl from school, we spent some time playing with them.

Kel was playing with Daryl & Dawn just now on the bed when Dawn started laughing. I grabbed my camera & managed to video her laughter.



Hearing her laughter is soooooo heartwarming...

Dawn Complaining

Just now, me, Daryl & Dawn were on the bed. I was surfing the net, Daryl was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while Dawn was lying on the bed watching the 2 of us.

All of a sudden, Daryl decided to kiss Dawn. I think he kissed her too hard. Thus, she started to 'scold' him. I managed to take a vid of that hilarious moment.
